What are Children’s Past Lives?

What are Children’s Past Lives? Typically, between the ages of 2-7, children may spontaneously regress, often during times of natural trance, such as right before sleep or in the car during a ride. They may also dream and report the dreams to you. See my previous post for information on past life regression.

How can you tell the difference between a child’s past life memory and storytelling? (or our own, for that matter). According to Carol Bowman, author of Children’s Past Lives, the four signs of children’s past life memory are:
1. matter-of-fact tone
2. consistency over time
3. knowledge beyond experience
4. corresponding behavior and traits

What should you do when this happens?
1. stay calm
2. acknowledge
3. discern
4. allow emotions
5. clarify past and present
